The Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) softball nipped the visiting Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings go into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 bout with a 8-9 record. In their last bout, Guilford held off Woodstock (Woodstock, IL), 13-3, in a non-league bout.
