Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Dwight upgrades its record to 21-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to Marquette (Ottawa, IL) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 22-1. Marquette won 10-1 in their recent league test against Midland (Varna, IL)

With the defeat, Beecher falls to 20-9 on the season.
