In Thursday's league game, the host Heritage Hawks baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.
The Hawks (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Midland (Midland, MI). The Chemics go into the Saginaw Valley game with a 9-5 record.
The Oilers (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Lightning go into the non-league game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Lapeer was overwhelmed by Midland (Midland, MI), 8-0, in a non-league game.
