Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (Sebewaing, MI) and the host Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), saw Unionville-Sebewaing's baseball squad knock off Vassar by a count of 4-0.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West battle, on Saturday, May 11. Unionville-Sebewaing will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Hatchets enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 7-5 league loss to Laker (Pigeon, MI).

The Vulcans now possess a 7-19 record. They take the field next when they host Hemlock for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 11.
