Next up, the Matadors clash with the Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 11. Monta Vista will attempt to advance on its 18-13 season record. The Dons come into the match with a 31-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Monterey (Monterey, CA).

With the loss, Carmel drops to 19-12 on the campaign.
