The Blake Bears lacrosse team scored 17 points and limited the visiting Holy Family Catholic Fire to 5 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Eden Prairie was overwhelmed by Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 16-12, in a non-league game.
The Fire (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN). The White Hawks enter the Section 2 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Mound-Westonka was overwhelmed by Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN), 17-7, in a non-league game.
