The Horizon Hawks lacrosse squad (Thornton, CO), was overwhelmed 18-8 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 11. Cherokee Trail will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 15-1 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Denver South (Denver, CO).

The Hawks now sport a 12-5 record.
