In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Washington Demons soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks.
The Demons (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Chiefs go into the Southeast battle with a 1-12 record.
The Golden Hawks (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Comets go into the non-league battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Bellevue was nudged by Tipton (Tipton, IA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
