The Becton Wildcats the host Nutley Maroon Raiders softball squad by a final score of 6-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lodi (Lodi, NJ). The Rams go into the NJIC - Meadowlands battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Lodi was routed by Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
The Maroon Raiders now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Verona for a non-league battle on Monday, May 13. Nutley will meet a Hillbillies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 10-8.
