Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Caro Tigers (Caro, MI), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Hawks now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alma for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Cass City will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Caro falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Birch Run (Birch Run, MI) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-9.
