The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs routed the visiting Finney Falcons softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Monarchs (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY). The Kings go into the Class A battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Bishop Kearney nudged Northstar Christian Academy (Rochester, NY), 15-0, in a non-league battle.

The Falcons now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Aquinas Institute for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 14.
