Maine High School Softball - Poland bounces Gray-New Gloucester

The Poland Knights (Poland, ME) softball routed the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 14-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against York (York, ME). The Wildcats go into the Class B South bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, York achieved victory over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME), 14-4, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots play the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class B South contest, on Friday, May 10. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).
