Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) and the visiting Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI), witnessed Hope's softball squad prevail over Shea by a count of 14-4.

The Blue Wave now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Juanita Sanchez Complex for a Division 4 match on Tuesday, May 14. Hope will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Shea moves to 8-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to face the Tigers in a Division 3 match on Monday, May 13. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 8-7.
