With the triumph, Matawan Regional moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Huskies host Toms River South (Toms River, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 9. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 7-13. Toms River South lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ)

In their next game, the Garnet Gulls play the Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 10. Point Pleasant Beach will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record.
