Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN), 17-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Royals now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stillwater for a Suburban East challenge on Friday, May 10. Woodbury will face a Ponies squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Park (Cottage Grove, MN). The Ponies record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, St. Anthony Village falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 8-11. Centennial lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN)
