The Adrian Blackhawks baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Midway Vikings to 6 in the Blackhawks non-league win on Friday.

The Blackhawks now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherwood for a Class 3 District 14 test on Saturday, May 10. Adrian will play a Marksmen team coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Archie (Archie, MO). The Marksmen record now stands at 12-14.

With the defeat, Midway drops to 13-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Clinton (Clinton, MO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 13-6. Clinton won 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Warsaw (Warsaw, MO)
