In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Arcadia Valley Tigers baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Ellington Whippets.
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their game against Perryville (Perryville, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Perryville nudged Chester (Chester, IL), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Whippets play the Liberty Blue Jays (Liberty, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Ellington will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Blue Jays go into the game with a 24-10 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Blair Oaks (Jefferson City, MO).
