The Hurley Northstars baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Bayfield Trollers to 2 in the Northstars league win on Friday.

The Northstars now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ontonagon for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. Hurley will play a Gladiators team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Bayfield drops to 0-7 on the year. The Trollers host Drummond (Drummond, WI) to play the Lumberjacks in a Indianhead test on Monday, May 12. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a record of 3-3.
