The Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) baseball got by the host Beaver Local Beavers (Lisbon, OH), 6-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton Falls for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey challenge on Monday, May 12. Crestview will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-5 league loss to Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Beaver Local drops to 4-15 on the year. The Beavers host David Anderson (Lisbon, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
