In Friday's non-league bout, the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) baseball squad nipped the visiting Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH), by a score of 8-7.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Streetsboro Rockets (Streetsboro, OH) in a bout, on Monday, May 12. Norton will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 12-5 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Windham (Windham, OH).
