Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), 2-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Medomak Valley advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Leavitt (Turner, ME) to battle the Hornets in a Class B South match on Monday, May 12. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 3-3. Leavitt won 2-0 in their recent league match against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME)

The Dragons now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edward Little for a Class A North match on Monday, May 12. Brunswick will battle a Red Eddies squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 3-4.
