The Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), 9-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 24-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Charter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Burns will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 19-15 non-league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 21-5.
With the defeat, Pine Lake Prep drops to 19-6 on the year.
