In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Chaffee Red Devils baseball team scored a close 9-4 win over the Sikeston Bulldogs.
The Red Devils (19-3) will now prepare for their game against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, Senath-Hornersville was overwhelmed by Portageville (Portageville, MO), 4-0, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Oak Ridge Blue Jays (Oak Ridge, MO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Sikeston will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
