New York High School Baseball - Williamsville East holds off Clarence

The Williamsville East Flames baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Clarence Red Devils to 1 in the Flames non-league win on Friday.
The Flames now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville North for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Williamsville East will play a Spartans team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
With the defeat, Clarence drops to 11-2 on the year. The Red devils host Canisius (Buffalo, NY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 8-7. Canisius won 7-3 in their recent league test against Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY)
