The D.C. Everest Evergreens baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Menomonie Mustangs to 5 in the Evergreens non-league win on Friday.
The Evergreens now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holmen for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. D.C. Everest will play a Vikings team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.
With the defeat, Menomonie drops to 11-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Big Rivers test on Tuesday, May 13. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 8-4.
