The East Peoria Raiders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers to 2 in the Raiders non-league win on Friday.

The Raiders now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they host Normal University for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. East Peoria will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 19-5.

With the defeat, LaSalle-Peru drops to 14-10 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Interstate Eight test on Monday, May 12. The Knights go into the test with a record of 16-9. Kaneland lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL)
