The Jefferson Academy Jaguars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Englewood Pirates to 0 in the Jaguars non-league win on Friday.
The Jaguars now own a 4-17 record. They take the field next when they host Peak to Peak for a 3A/2A Metro test on Tuesday, May 13. Jefferson Academy will clash with a Pumas team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Pumas record now stands at 12-9.
With the defeat, Englewood drops to 9-8 on the year. The Pirates host Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 7-15. Weld Central lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Valley (Gilcrest, CO)
