The McDonogh Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Gerstell Academy to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The Eagles now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntingtown for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. McDonogh will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 1-1 league La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 14-3.
With the defeat, Gerstell Academy drops to 3-3 on the year. The travel to St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 13-11. St. John's Catholic Prep lost 4-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD)
