In Friday's non-league game, the host Zeeland West Dux baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Grand Haven Buccaneers.
The Dux (2-17) will now prepare for their game against Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Jenison nudged Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI), 12-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Buccaneers play the Kenowa Hills Knights (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Grand Haven will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 14-7 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI).
