The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) and the host Minneapolis South Tigers (Minneapolis, MN), saw Highland Park's baseball team gain a win over Minneapolis South by a tally of 8-3.
The Scots (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars enter the St. Paul City battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Como Park was overwhelmed by Highland Park (St. Paul, MN), 13-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) in a Minneapolis City battle, on Saturday, May 10. Minneapolis South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Lakers enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN).
