The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Hudsonville Eagles (Hudsonville, MI) and the visiting South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), saw Hudsonville's baseball team beat South Lyon by a margin of 4-2.
The Eagles (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against Grandville (Grandville, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Ottawa-Kent - Red battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Grandville by Jenison (Jenison, MI), 7-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Zeeland East Chix (Zeeland, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. South Lyon will attempt to improve on its 19-7 season record. The Chix enter the battle with a 18-4 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI).
