The Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO) baseball trounced the visiting Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), 14-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host South Shelby for a Class 3 District 6 challenge on Thursday, May 15.
With the defeat, Van-Far drops to 11-9 on the year. The Indians host Northeast (Cairo, MO) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 9-7.
