The Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) baseball trounced the visiting Orono Riots (Orono, ME), 7-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winthrop for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. Mount View will clash with a Ramblers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Orono drops to 4-4 on the year. The Riots travel to Old Town (Old Town, ME) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Old Town lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Hermon (Hermon, ME)
