The Munster Mustangs baseball team scored 22 runs and held the host Wheeler Bearcats to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Andrean for a Northwest Crossroads test on Monday, May 12. Munster will play a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Zionsville (Zionsville, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 20-1.

With the defeat, Wheeler drops to 8-12 on the year. The Bearcats host Hammond Central (Hammond, IN) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Monday, May 12. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 7-14. Hammond Central lost 21-0 in their recent non-league test against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)
