Illinois High School Baseball - Schlarman loses to Watseka

In Friday's league bout, the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), by a score of 23-9.

Next up, the Warriors encounter the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Monday, May 12. Watseka will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 13-14 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Fisher (Fisher, IL).

The Hilltoppers (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Vermilion Valley bout with a 16-9 record. In their last bout, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was overwhelmed by Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 1-0, in a league bout.
