In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Upsala/Swanville Patriots baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Wheaton Warriors.
The Patriots (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Osakis (Osakis, MN). The Silverstreaks enter the Prairie game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Osakis was tipped by Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN), 4-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Warriors face the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles (Madison, MN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Wheaton will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 6-7 record after their 7-3 league win over Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN).
