Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), 5-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Westlake advances its record to 9-7 on the season. The Demons travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 6-6. Gilmour Academy lost 10-9 in their recent league game against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)

The Knights now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olmsted Falls for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Archbishop Hoban will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-6 league loss to Avon (Avon, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.
