The Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), 18-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rockingham for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Rockbridge County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
With the defeat, Harrisonburg drops to 0-11 on the year. The Blue streaks host William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 8-3.
