With the triumph, Buckeye Valley improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Barons travel to Hayes (Delaware, OH) to play the Pacers in a non-league game on Monday, May 12. The Pacers enter the game with a record of 3-1.

The Monarchs now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Marysville will play a Rams squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Dover (Dover, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
