The Fairmont Firebirds the host Walnut Hills Eagles lacrosse team by a tally of 11-9 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Firebirds play the Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH) in a Region 3 game, on Saturday, May 10. Fairmont will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 1-12 record after their 20-2 non-league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH).
The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Little Miami (Morrow, OH). The Panthers come into the Region 4 battle with a 4-11 record.
