Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), 9-8 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Grayslake North advances its record to 1-0 on the season.
The Eagles now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampshire for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Lakes will encounter a Whip-Purs team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 6-8.
