The J.P. Stevens Hawks lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Long Branch Green Wave to 9 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now hold a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nottingham for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. J.P. Stevens will clash with a Northstars squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Millville (Millville, NJ). The Northstars record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Long Branch falls to 2-11 on the year. The Green wave travel to St. Rose (Belmar, NJ) to clash with the Purple Roses in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. The Purple Roses go into the challenge with a record of 0-4.
