Michigan High School Softball - Utica topped by Anchor Bay

Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Anchor Bay improves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Tars travel to Romeo (Romeo, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Macomb Area - Red game on Saturday, May 10. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 13-6. Romeo won 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Algonac (Algonac, MI)

The Chieftains now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Marysville for a Macomb Area - White bout on Tuesday, May 13.
