South Dakota High School Softball - Colman-Egan bounces Arlington/Lake Preston

May 9, 2025: Arlington, SD 57212

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks softball team scored a nice 22-12 victory over the Arlington/Lake Preston .

The C-E Hawks (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Cougars go into the Class B match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, Viborg/Hurley was routed by McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD), 9-3, in a league match.

Next, the clash with the Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Arlington/Lake Preston will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Pheasants go into the test with a 3-14 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD).
