The Milford Bearcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Armstrong Trojans to 4 in the Bearcats league win on Friday.

The Bearcats now possess a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watseka for a Vermilion Valley battle on Monday, May 12. Milford will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Armstrong moves to 13-11 on the season. The Trojans host Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to confront the Cornjerkers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Cornjerkers come into the battle with a record of 8-11. Hoopeston won 14-4 in their recent league battle against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL)
