The Bangor Rams (Bangor, ME) softball nipped the host Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME), 4-3 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Rams now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Blue for a Class A North outing on Monday, May 12.
With the loss, Ellsworth moves to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to encounter the Crusaders in a Class B North outing on Tuesday, May 13. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 4-3. John Bapst Memorial lost 9-3 in their recent league outing against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME)
