The Brillion Lions triumphed over the host Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers softball team by a final score of 13-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Lions (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI). The Purple Raiders come into the Eastern Wisconsin match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Two Rivers was routed by Valders (Valders, WI), 5-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs (Neenah, WI) in a Big East - North match, on Monday, May 12. Manitowoc Lutheran will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Zephyrs come into the match with a 3-13 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Winneconne (Winneconne, WI).
