Kentucky High School Softball - Leslie County bounces Buckhorn

The Leslie County Eagles softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats to 1 in the Eagles league win on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineville for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Leslie County will confront a Mountain Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Buckhorn moves to 7-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a record of 14-7.
