North Carolina High School Softball - Cape Fear bounces Southern Alamance

The Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) softball routed the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 17-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Colts now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Cape Fear will encounter a Fighting Scots team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 25-1.

With the loss, Southern Alamance moves to 12-15 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2025 NCHSAA Softball State Championship - 3A tournament
