North Carolina High School Softball - Swain County bounces Cherryville

May 9, 2025: Cherryville, NC 28021

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) and the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), observed Swain County's softball team prevail over Cherryville by a tally of 12-1.

The Maroon Devils (17-5) will now prepare for their bout against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras go into the non-league bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, South Stokes knocked off Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
